Remote Learning

At Ormiston Kensington Queensmill Academy, we do not currently provide formal remote learning lessons for pupils who are not attending on site. Due to the needs of our pupils, they are unable to access learning remotely and can find online or home-based learning particularly difficult without direct adult support. However, we recognise that parents and carers sometimes need support to help their children continue learning at home. For this reason, we share a range of resources and learning materials that parents can use at home to support their child’s learning where appropriate. In addition, families may receive regular visits from our Family Support Practitioner, and ongoing contact from the class teacher to provide guidance and check progress.
